We spent the weekend of July 21-22 out amongst the vines at Domain Drouhin Oregon. Our dining room was placed in the middle of the vineyard, with a spectacular view of the mountains and Oregon wine country. The setting was spectacular, the wines were impeccable, and each night featured an amazing array of dishes.

On July 21st, guests were treated to a Cajun-inspired meal from Chef Ethan Powell and Chef Tobias Hogan (Eat Oyster Bar and Parish), along with Chef Adam Higgs of Acadia. The next night, dinner was prepared by Scott and Emily Ketterman of Crown Paella, along with Gregory Gourdet of Departure. There was paella (of course!), along with a whole host of other goodies. To top it all off, the fabulous Chef Kristin D. Murray (formerly of Paley’s Place.) Thanks to all the chefs and winemakers who participated, your hard work made for one unforgettable weekend!

Last, but certainly not least, we’d like to thank the youth (and adults!) from Food Works. The July 22nd dinner was a special benefit for the Food Works farm, and we are so proud to be a small part of what these amazing young people are doing. A special thanks to Sabrina of Food Works for volunteering her time and serving alongside us!

It’s hard to describe the beauty of this space, so we’ll let the photos speak for themselves. It’s truly a special spot.

A sneak peak of the dining room, between the grape leaves.

Domain Drouhin 2010 Pinot Noir. One of many fabulous wines we enjoyed over the weekend!

Toasted Rice Angel Food Cake, Apricot Zucchini and Hazelnut Marmalade, White Tea Anglaise (created by Kristin D. Murray)

A moment of triumph! The chefs raise a giant Paella pan above their heads, for the crowd to see.

We can’t wait to come back and dine amongst the vines. Thanks to all who participated in these wonderful dinners!
